We got a vision to plant a missional church in North Sumatera, Indonesia, as a pioneer that makes good impact in the community to bless all people. We noticed English Language is needed in the community so that they can use English as an international language for a brighter future. We want to support them to achieve this vision.
We make English fun through the English club for kids. We started our first English Club for kids on August 15, 2023. We had no comfort place to start, but God provided it. We collaborate with the local school near our church to impact our neighborhood.
Batch I finished the class on December 02, 2023 comprises 50 students and nine volunteers.
Batch II started on February 6, 2024 with total student of 60 and total volunteers of 16 people. We divided the class into 4 classes :
- Grade 1-2
- Grade 3-4
- Grade 5-6
- Grade 7-8
Batch II finished the classes on May 15, 2024. We extended an invitation to the General Secretary and his spouse to present certificates to students who consistently attend courses and successfully complete the exams to progress to the next phase. Students who excel in their classes receive trophies as a means to inspire both them and their peers to pursue further learning. Following the event, we partake in communal meals.
Sixteen volunteers, who serve as teachers, were presented with certificates of appreciation. Their dedication in contributing time, effort, and expertise is truly valued and greatly appreciated.
We are preparing to commence Batch III promptly, as our students exhibit a keen enthusiasm for further learning. Gratefully, the parents are encouraging their children to continue participating in the English Club.
