We started our first English Club for kids on August 15, 2023 with eight volunteers and now have 16, thanks to the eager participation of university students. These volunteers generously offer their time and knowledge without seeking any payment.
Our curriculum not only focuses on language skills but also incorporates fun activities, cultural exchanges, and storytelling sessions, making the learning experience rich and enjoyable.
Batch II finished the classes on May 15, 2024. Sixteen volunteers, who serve as teachers, were presented with certificates of appreciation. Their dedication in contributing time, effort, and expertise is truly valued and greatly appreciated. General Secretary of HKI and his wife attended the service to distribute the certificate to the volunteers.
We aim to expand the program and commence the third batch in June 2024.
